Designed by Jody Clark, the artist behind the definitive portrait of His Majesty King Charles III, this piece brings together his Royal Mail approved eagle and his own interpretation of Lady Liberty to mark the 250th anniversary of the American Declaration of Independence on 4th July 2026.

The coin also honours the 80th anniversary of Alderney's Homecoming Day, marking the islanders' return following liberation at the end of the Second World War.
