Ouroboros 2026 Samoa $1/2 Silver - Printed Blue and Pink

Two serpents, one infinite line. The oldest symbol for transformation, struck as the symbol for infinity itself.

Long before chemistry had a name, alchemists drew a serpent swallowing its own tail to describe their own work. The Ouroboros stood for matter destroyed and remade, base metal transformed into gold, an ending that is also a beginning. It appears on Egyptian shrines, in Greek and Gnostic texts, and later across the manuscripts of the alchemists themselves, always carrying the same meaning: nothing here is truly lost, it only changes shape.

The Ouroboros Collection carries that symbol further still. Two serpents, each devouring the other's tail, are woven into a figure eight, the ancient emblem of transformation rendered as the modern symbol for infinity. Struck in Ag 999 fine silver under the authority of Samoa, dated 2026, across three weights within the collection.
